Family Dentist, Great With Children and Youth

During early adolecent years, the mouth undergoes significant change. During this time, it is important to have regular dental checkups with a dentist to ensure everything inside the mouth is perfected. Braces, retainers, and other oral procedures may be necessary to set your child up for the successful beautiful smile they will have for the rest of their lives.

NOTE: We accept patients of all ages.

Check-up & Cleaning

Your first visit at Summerlea should normally be a check-up and cleaning. We will work with you to assess your teeth and formulate a treatment plan.

Pediatric Dentistry

From age 0-2 Mom and Dad should be brushing children’s teeth twice a day and visually checking for any black spots or swelling of gums. At about 2 years old it’s time for a “fun visit” where children will count their teeth, sit in the chair, and learn about their mouth. At 3 years and up it’s time for the first thorough checkup and cleaning.

What age should I bring my child to the dentist?
